Grazia Maria Massa è nata a Udine e vive a Verona. Fin da ragazza ha
sentito il bisogno di esprimere i suoi sentimenti attraverso l’arte.
Ha seguito corsi di perfezionamento con pittori italiani e esteri
presso “La Libera Accademia Città di Cividale”, la “Scuola
Internazionale di Grafica” a Venezia e a Berlino con il pittore
Greg Murr. Le tematiche in cui si è cimentata vanno dal figurativo,
paesaggi en plein air, nature morte, in particolare figura umana. Le
tecniche sono varie: acquerello, olio, tempere, pigmenti vinilici,
gouaches, smalti. Dal figurativo è passata all’astratto dove
esprime i propri sentimenti con il colore, forme semplici, segni,
linee. Questi percorsi che si intrecciano, si interrompono, cercano
di uscire da spazi dove il colore, le forme geometriche, le linee, i
segni conducono ad una realtà interiore, esprimibile solo attraverso
l’arte. Ha partecipato a concorsi di pittura classificandosi sempre
ai primi posti. Ha ricevuto un Premio Speciale al Concorso
Internazionale ”Premio Giotto” a Padova (2009). Nel 2007- ha
partecipato alla 52^ Biennale di Venezia – Categoria Eventi – P3 –
Nel 2011 è stata invitata a partecipare alla 54^ Biennale di Venezia
– Categoria Eventi – Nel 2010 ha partecipato al Concorso
Internazionale ”Il Pennello d’Oro” con la Gallery Italiaportray di
Houda Oueslati a Sharjah (UAE) dove si è classificata seconda.
Diverse le recensioni che hanno trovato posto su riviste d’arte tra
cui Arte ed. Mondadori, Juliet, International Urbis et Artis e su su
quotidiani. Le mostre in varie città d’Italia e all’estero sono
oltre un centinaio di cui quarantotto personali.

(Graziamaria) Massa was born in Udine, where she resides. As a girl,
she felt compelled to express her feelings through art. For a period
of time her artistic activity has slowed down for work and family
reasons. For the last several years she has started again to paint
intensively. She has attended courses with Italian and foreign
artists at ”The free Town of Cividale Academy”, the ”International
School of Graphic Arts” in Venice and Berlin with the painter Greg
Murr. The subjects in which she has experimented go from figurative,
en plein air landscapes, still life, especially the human figure. The
techniques are varied: watercolor, oil, tempera, pigments, vinyl,
gouache, enamel. From figurative she moved on to abstract, where she
expressed her feelings with color, simple shapes, signs, lines that
identify primarily as ”paths”. Paths are intertwined, stops, try to
get out of defined spaces and leaving the observers, almost stunned,
but at the same time you want to search the path in the tangle of
their lives interrupted, at times, sharply. Color, geometric shapes,
lines, signs lead to an inner reality, expressed only through art.
She has participated in painting competitions and finished first
twice and second once, recently received a Special International
Award. ( Competition ”PremioGiotto” -2009 – Padova) .2010 She has
